Andy Murray crushes Kyrgios to claim 50th win at Wimbledon!

Sometimes you just have to say too good and right now that is probably what Nick Kyrgios is saying after Andy Murray put on a faultless display as he progressed to the quarter finals once again at Wimbledon.

Nick I believe will be a great player but he got broken at the wrong time in set one and it halted his performance. The backhand cross court at 5-6 0-30 with Kyrgios serving was too good for the Australian and losing the set that late on set theme for the match as Andy never looked back after a close opening 10 games.

Variation is a massive part of Andy’s game and the variation was there throughout. Drop shot winners, lobs, passing shots and ground strokes the British number one had all the answers to all the questions Nick threw at him.

One thing I did think Nick did well was nullify the power coming from the backhand of Murray we didn’t see as much dominance off that wing as we have seen this week but with the forehand equally as strong under the guide-ship of Lendl you can’t just stop the backhand as the forehand was untouchable!

Murray’s win against Kyrgios sets him up against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the quarter finals extending his winning record to 19-0 against Australian players and securing his 50th win at Wimbledon.
