The men who could be a danger at Wimbledon!

Feliciano Lopez

Ranked at 70 in the world but we know what Feli is capable of. His ranking has taken a bit of a hit due to his Queens Club points from last year dropping off. Feli is such a talented player and his skill makes him dangerous on any surface and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him upset a seed if he gets the chance early on, they will not want to play him!

Daniil Medvedev

Daniil is a talented player, following a good second half of last season which all began with that win over Wawrinka at Wimbledon it hasn’t really happened for him following his title win in Sydney at the beginning of the year. Daniil’s game is quite thought out and follows a plan which can be a good thing but also if it doesn’t go well finding plan B can be difficult.

Frances Tiafoe

Frances on his day is a very tough competitor. The young American at the age of 20 had a good run at Queens Club recently but despite two final appearances and his first ATP title in Delray Beach in February where he beat Del Potro in round two but I still feel like we are waiting for something big to happen from him!

David Ferrer

At 36 years old David Ferrer is coming towards the end of his remarkable career. Having played in almost 1000 singles matches he knows tournaments better than anyone. As an unseeded player at Wimbledon he will provide a threat potentially for a big seed despite just one top 10 win since the end of 2015 but you still wouldn’t want to play him.

Stefanos Tsitsipas

One of the top exciting youngsters on the tour at the moment. From Greece, Stefanos has continued his big breakthrough on the tour this year following his break into the top 100 last year. Stefanos brings flair and steel from the baseline and found his form on the clay this year especially in Barcelona with wins against Thiem on route to the final against Nadal. Stefanos will definitely be one to watch!

Denis Shapovalov

Denis is one of the most exciting players on the tour. Tipped to achieve so much and he has had a great year or so on the tour. He’s a player whose game is full of options and it makes him very dangerous! Denis is a seed and I would like to see him go into the second week. He has had some big wins but I still feel we are waiting for something to happen here!
