Wimbledon ๐ŸŽพ Day 4 – De Minaur ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป last Brit standing ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป Cruise Control ๐Ÿ˜Ž Muguruza/Cilic stunned! ๐Ÿ˜ถ

De Minaur roars again!

Alex De Minaur is making headlines once again. The Australian who was so impressive at the beginning of the season has now been playing some great tennis in his first appearance at SW19 and will be back in action on Saturday against Rafael Nadal, what a match that could be!

The Australian has been attracting some plaudits on Twitter as well!

Last Brit Standing!

Kyle Edmund is the last British player standing. Following defeats yesterday for Katie Boulter and Johanna Konta’s defeat to Dominika Cibulkova. Kyle Edmund played against Klahn from the USA and in the next round he will be up against Novak Djokovic for a place in round four, a big test for both players.

Cruise Control

Two tournament favourites that are still standing are Juan Martin Del Potro and Simona Halep, both won in straight sets yesterday and are looking untroubled as they both search for their second Grand Slam title. With seeds dropping by the day pressure will grow but these two deal with pressure so well!

Goodbye ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Two major contenders are surprisingly out! Garbine Muguruza was a set up at 7-5 against Van Uytvanck however the tide quickly turned with the Spaniard winning just three of the next fifteen games losing the match 7-5 2-6 1-6 against the former Roland Garros semi-finalist.

Marin Cilic will be very disappointed following his win in Queens. The Croat who was heavily tipped to go far has fallen very soon into the draw. He will be even more frustrated that he led the match 6-3 6-1 and then fell to lose 6-3 6-1 4-6 6-7 5-7 against Guida Pella from Argentina, the rain delay with the match being carried over did not help and you could see the frustration on his face.
