The entry list for Queens Club is out. The Fever Tree Championships in London get going before Wimbledon is one of the highly anticipated ATP500 events on the calendar but who is playing and what questions have we been left with?
Kyle Edmund and Cam Norrie will lead the British involvement with direct entrance into the tournament.
Defending champion Marin Cilic who has slipped out of the top 10 of late with some poor form will be there as will Stefanos Tsitsipas, Juan Martin Del Potro and currently injured Kevin Anderson.
In-form players Cristian Garin and Daniil Medvedev are also in the draw as are up-rising stars Felix Auger-Aliassime, Alex De Minaur, Denis Shapovalov and Frances Tiafoe.
Now, there are also 4 qualifying places and 4 wildcard places which will be assigned closer to the time.
To avoid confusion over Andy Murray here is that situation…
Andy has a ‘career commitment’ to play Queens Club. Andy has not officially retired and has entertained the idea of playing again but says there is no pressure.
Due to this a special wildcard has been put aside for him and he will let them know closer to the date if he will take it up or not. If not the wildcard will be distributed elsewhere.
There are also 4 other wildcards and it is expect only one of them could go to Nadal or Djokovic who have previously signed up quite last minute.
