Andy Murray’s Wimbledon partner has been named.
Pierre-Hugues Herbert who has won all four majors in doubles with his partner Nicolás Mahut have had a break from playing doubles together this year with Herbert focusing more on his singles.
Pierre made the semi finals in Hungary earlier in the year and at Roland Garros came from two sets down to defeat Medvedev in five before falling in five to Benoît Paire.
Herbert is currently playing doubles in Halle with David Goffin this week.
In round one they saw off top seeds Kubot and Melo (who Andy is pairing up with at Eastbourne). In round two the duo dropped four games as they beat Sousa and Pella.
Andy also spoke about mixed doubles at Wimbledon and has asked a few WTA players but has been turned down. He is still keen on the idea so watch this space…
