Andy Murray & Serena Williams have progressed to the second round of mixed doubles.
The duo won against Alexa Guarachi from Chile and Andreas Mies from Germany.
The Serena and Andy partnership got off to a good start as they broke in the match very early on to take a 4-2 lead and from there on in it was business as usual for the former singles champions as they took the first set 6-4.
Both were competitive as ever and as you’d expect them to be but also brought some laughs to the court with some great court coverage.
It got better and better for the American/Brit partnership as they began the second set with a break once more and a single break quickly turned into a double break with Serena consolidating for a 4-0 lead having to hold serve from 0-40 down.
The Chile/German team managed to stay close with their first hold of serve in the set for 1-4 but faced a big challenge to trouble the Murray/Williams serve.
Any questions on serve?
Absolutely no more breaking to seal the win 6-4 6-1.
