Alex De Minaur has picked up his second title of the year and this time in Atlanta.
The 20 year old who missed a chunk of the season following injury struggled to find form but was super impressive in Atlanta this week.
Alex who has adopted this moustache look (not a fan) defeated Klahn, Tomic, Opelka and in the final the inform Taylor Fritz in two sets.
During his run to his second title of the year he didn’t face a single break point behind his serve and in the four matches he played dropped only 7 points on his first serve which is unheard of numbers.
It is good to see Alex playing well ahead of a big stage of the season for him. He is always such a good mover on the court but backing up his game behind his serve is a good start to this hard court swing in the USA.
Next up he will head to Washington where he does have final points to defend but is now back at 25 in the world as of Monday.
