Andy Murray’s anticipated return to Australia is off.
The 5 time Aussie Open finalist has announced he would not be heading to Melbourne with this groin/pelvic injury still causing him problems.
The plan for Murray is to stay in London and continuing practicing having stepped back onto the court in the last week as injury forced the Brit to miss his training block in Miami.
It is understood that there will not be a replacement in the ATP Cup for his position with Kyle Edmund opting to play in Doha that week.
Murray was set to receive a wildcard for the Australian Open but now has his eyes set on the ATP 250 event in Montpellier at the beginning of February to kick off his season.
