Borna Coric is the latest player to have played at the Adria Tour in Zadar this weekend just gone who has confirmed a positive test for Coronavirus.
Last night, Grigor Dimitrov who looked out of sorts on Saturday confirmed a positive test which subsequently led to cancellation of the final between Djokovic and Rublev.
Coric’s announcement this morning sends more shockwaves through tennis following the ‘business as usual’ approach from the Adria Tour which didn’t follow any social distancing.
Crowds were at the matches, players interacted with fans and other players and no masks were worn.
Coric posted this on his Twitter this morning:
It is really important to stress just because you may not have the symptoms of the virus it doesn’t mean you haven’t got it.
Both players have urged people who have come into contact with them to get themselves tested and have apologised for any harm they may have caused.
