Four weeks of formidable tennis have come to an end for Andy Murray. His season isn’t over yet as he is expected to take part in the Davis Cup Finals which begin on the 18th of November but will be heading back home now after a successful return to the ATP tour. With his Wife Kim expected to give birth this week this meant his season would end in Antwerp despite the offer of a wildcard into the ATP 500 event in Vienna. Andy Murray 6-4 7-6 Kimmer Coppejans; Brit battles hard against local favourite and sets out intentions for the rest of 2019

Andy Murray has come through his first round meeting with Kimmer Coppejans pretty unscathed. The former world number one had to battle hard on route to a 6-4 7-6 victory against the Belgian in front of home support. Andy took an early lead in the match finding himself 3-0 up after just 9 minutes on court but Coppejans remained in contention.
