Aus Open Day 3; Comebacks, capitulations and normal service!

Day three down at Melbourne Park was pretty much straight. The top players orchrested themselves through to the next round and others went the long way round. Caroline Wozniacki is keeping her run going with a very comprehensive 7-5 7-5 win against the seeded Dayana Yastremska who herself had some goals for the event really wanting to face Serena again. 6-3 6-4; Serena’s best so far

Serena Williams is into week two at Wimbledon. For the 16th time in her career the former world number one and seven time champion in London had advanced to the fourth round with her best performance so far. The American has had a mixture of opponents on route to round four. First up was 31 year old Gatto-Manticone making her debut at Wimbledon giving Serena a test in the second set but losing 6-2 7-5.
