Novak Djokovic has his sights on the title and following his opening performance and first meeting with Matteo Berrettini he is in an unforgiving mood. It says something about the level of the Serb Berrettini didn’t serve badly at all but Novak was all over him like a rash! The Italian held his first couple of games and then it went away. It has been quite the season for Matteo Berrettini.  The Italian began his year ranked at 54 in the world and after 8 events had 6 wins and 7 defeats to his name, not the ideal start. ATP World Tour Finals Draw

With just over four days until the ATP World Tour Finals get underway, the draw has been made for the season finale. Rafael Nadal who had to withdraw from his Paris Masters semi-finals with an abdominal injury is in the draw and is expected to train on Thursday and Friday. At just before half past eleven on Wednesday night in Paris the fate of Matteo Berrettini’s place in London was taken out of his hands. The last player you probably want to face in this situation of ‘must win’ at this time of the season is Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Destination London, but first a stop off in Paris!

The final Masters 1000 event of the year is here. We began in California before heading off to Miami. A trip to Europe to play on some clay took us around Monte-Carlo, Madrid and Rome in quick succession. A break then took us to Cincinnati followed by a trip to Canada.
