It has been an incredible 10 days of tennis. Played across Perth, Brisbane and the final eight coming together in Sydney the new format has proved incredibly popular with fans and players alike with over 220,000 fans attending the event. Alexei Popyrin brings variety on a comfortable Wimbledon debut!

Alexei Popyrin really brought some variety to Court 8 on the first day of Wimbledon as he battled impressively well past Pablo Carreno Busta to win in straight sets 7-6 7-5 6-2. The 19 year old Australian who at 6ft5 brings a big serve to the court has been looking at other options as well. He does a bit of training at the Mouratoglou Academy where he has learnt a lot but has a familiar face in his box at the moment and that is former Wimbledon winner Pat Cash.
