Getting to the final of the ATP Finals in London has been quite the journey from twelve months ago. Last year Michael Venus (32) and Raven Klaasen (37) made they debut in London. A round robin exit was a sad ending to their debut year together but a year of plenty of positives. For Mahut and Herbert the end of 2018 was a tough one to take. No Andy, No Jamie and No Kyle in London. Who is the only British participant at the World Tour Finals in London this year? Joe Salisbury. Joe has had a big breakthrough in the last 12 months reaching a career high of 19 on the doubles and is currently just inside the top 30 having been outside top 100 at the beginning of 2018. We know who Andy Murray will face on his competitive return too tennis. He and his new doubles partner for Queens Club Feliciano Lopez will be up against the top seeds from Colombia Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah. The Colombian duo have been together since 2010 on and off winning 11 titles together including titles in Rome and Barcelona this year on the clay. Brit double at the doubles in Acapulco!

Not one but two British players walked away with a Sombrero in Acapulco after title wins for Jamie Murray and Heather Watson. Jamie and Bruno picked up their first title since Queens last year resulting in Jamie’s 20th career doubles title as he and his partner put on a good week in the Mexican heat to secure their first silverware of the season. Mladenovic and Garcia win Roland Garros doubles title!

Records continue to be broken at this year’s Roland Garros with Kristina Mladenovic and Caroline Garcia ending France’ wait for a french duo to win the women’s doubles at Roland Garros for the first time since 1971 a 45 year wait. Jamie Murray – World number 1!!!!

Well it’s been on the cards for a while but as of Monday Jamie Murray will be officially ranked world number one after Marcelo Melo was defeated in R2 of Indian Wells. Jamie himself didn’t have a great tournament at Indian Wells with he and his partner Bruno Soares falling in round one. Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares have only been playing with each other for about a month but are the form team on the tour with them winning Sydney prior to winning their first Grand Slam title together and Jamie’s first with him in his third final running!
